Questions about the Mac mini
What is MNH73LL/A?
MNH73LL/A is Apple's part number for the Mac mini M2 Pro 512GB Silver, made for the US (the LL/A suffix). Apple released it in January 17, 2023. Its launch price was $1,299. Apple sold it new until November 8, 2024. It runs macOS 27.
Which seller has the cheapest refurbished Mac mini?
Today it is Back Market, at $920 for a Fair (C) unit with 1‑year warranty. The cheapest Excellent unit is $999 at Amazon Renewed. The cheapest Good unit is $1,079 at eBay Refurbished.
What warranty comes with a refurbished Mac mini?
It depends on the seller. On this page: Back Market 1‑year warranty, Amazon Renewed 1‑year warranty, eBay Refurbished no stated warranty. Every seller here takes returns for 30 days.
Is a refurbished Mac mini worth buying?
Yes, for most buyers. A refurbished Mac mini performs like a new one for less money, and a desktop that never leaves your desk carries little of the risk of a used laptop. On 7 October 2026, Back Market listed the M1 Mac mini with 8 GB and 256 GB at $488, about 30% below Apple's $699 launch price. eBay Refurbished listed the M4 with 16 GB and 256 GB at $729, $170 less than Apple's new M6 Mac mini with the same memory and storage at $899.
