What can I do if I'm not happy with my order/product?
If you are not happy with a refurbished product you ordered, the first step is to contact the seller directly. Every refurbisher listed on RefurbMe has a customer service team that can help resolve issues with your order.
Step 1: Contact the seller
Reach out to the refurbisher's support team as soon as possible. You can find contact details for every seller on our support contact info page. When contacting them, have the following ready:
- Your order number and email address used at checkout
- A clear description of the issue (cosmetic defect, technical problem, wrong item, etc.)
- Photos or videos of the problem, if applicable
Step 2: Check your warranty and return options
Most refurbishers offer a return window (typically 14 to 30 days) and a warranty period (usually 12 months or more). Your next steps depend on the situation:
- Want to return the product? Check the seller's return policy. Most allow free returns within the return window for any reason. See our guide on how to return a refurbished product for detailed steps.
- Product has a defect? File a warranty claim with the seller. You can compare warranty terms across refurbishers on RefurbMe.
- Cosmetic condition not as described? Contact the seller and reference the condition grade you purchased. Most sellers will offer a replacement or refund.
You can also compare return policies across all refurbishers listed on RefurbMe.
What RefurbMe can and cannot do
RefurbMe is a comparison service. We help you find the best deals on refurbished Apple products, but we do not process orders, handle payments, or ship products. All purchases are completed directly on the seller's website, which means only the seller can assist with order issues, returns, and warranty claims.
If you believe a seller is not honoring their stated policies, you can contact us and we will look into the matter.
