Is a refurbished Mac mini worth buying?
Yes, for most buyers. A refurbished Mac mini performs like a new one for less money, and a desktop that never leaves your desk carries little of the risk of a used laptop. On 7 October 2026, Back Market listed the M1 Mac mini with 8 GB and 256 GB at $488, about 30% below Apple's $699 launch price. eBay Refurbished listed the M4 with 16 GB and 256 GB at $729, $170 less than Apple's new M6 Mac mini with the same memory and storage at $899.
