Questions about the Mac mini
What is MXNF2B/A?
MXNF2B/A is Apple's part number for the Mac mini 2018 256GB Space Gray, made for the UK (the B/A suffix). Its model number is A1993. Apple released it in October 30, 2018. Its launch price was £799. Apple sold it new until November 10, 2020. It runs macOS 15 (Sequoia).
Which seller has the cheapest refurbished Mac mini?
Today it is Amazon Renewed, at £229 for a Good (B) unit with 1‑year warranty. The cheapest Excellent unit is £241 at Back Market.
What warranty comes with a refurbished Mac mini?
It depends on the seller. On this page: Amazon Renewed 1‑year warranty, eBay Refurbished no stated warranty, Back Market 1‑year warranty. Every seller here takes returns for 30 days.
Is a refurbished Mac mini worth buying?
Yes, for most buyers. A refurbished Mac mini performs like a new one for less money, and a desktop that never leaves your desk carries little of the risk of a used laptop. On 7 October 2026, Back Market listed the M1 Mac mini with 8 GB and 256 GB at $488, about 30% below Apple's $699 launch price. eBay Refurbished listed the M4 with 16 GB and 256 GB at $729, $170 less than Apple's new M6 Mac mini with the same memory and storage at $899.
